Job Description:
(duties & responsibilities):

As Southeastern Regional Director of Business Development you will work remotely from your own home office and be responsible to develop and implement a strategic sales plan to identify and penetrate potential customers. This is an established territory with existing customers currently generating revenue that you will be assigned to grow while also being an active tactical “hunter” performing new business development while also directing the efforts of a team of Independent Sales Reps. This is a high visibility position with the opportunity to be a recognized by the management team as a key contributor in the company’s growth while increasing their customer base and revenue. You will get the necessary support and tools required to be successful in this entrepreneurial opportunity while functioning as a key member of the sales team and contributing to the company's growth!

The candidate for this position will meet these minimum background qualifications:

* Five (5) years of experience selling Electronics Manufacturing Services.

* Experience successfully developing and implementing strategic business development plans.

* Proven success as a “hunter” with growing customer base and increasing revenue. 

* Currently physically located below the Mason-Dixon Line from Virginia down to Florida.

* Ability to work unsupervised and remotely.

* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

My client company is a global Contract Electronics Manufacturer that has me on retainer to hire a Director of Business Development to cover the Southeastern Region of the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a financially strong company that has state of the art manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia. They have been investing heavily into the company by adding key individuals to a dynamic management team as they launch their strategy to grow 25% in the next year!

Job Compensation:

Base Pay Range:
$90,000 to $130,000/yr
Average Commission: $40,000
Average Bonus: $10,000
Other Compensation: $5,400 Car Allowance
Relocation Expenses: Not Covered
