My client company is an EMS provider that has an urgent need to hire two positions: a Manufacturing Engineer and a Test Engineer. This over twenty-year old EMS provider has more than doubled in size over the last four years and has the capacity available for extensive organic growth while also looking at future acquisitions! They are a full-service supplier of PCBAs, cables, harnesses, and complete system box builds to customers in various markets including the industrial, telecommunications, networking, and medical segments. They pride themselves on continuously investing in the latest advanced technology along with an extensive training program that has resulted in the long-term retention of their employees. |
Job Requirements: (desired candidate qualifications): |
The person in the role of Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the continuous operation of SMT lines to ensure that Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) manufacturing deadlines are met. You will be hands-on to troubleshoot SMT line problems on the manufacturing floor to implement corrective actions and put in place preventative maintenance procedures. Background requirements include a strong technical understanding of PCBA processes including SMT, pick & place, wave solder, conformal coating, DFM, and ECOs. As the Test Engineer you will be responsible for the In-Circuit and Functional testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA). You will run programs using LabView software that will perform various tests including vibration, environmental, durability, and X-Ray. You will compile and analyze the test results and work with other departments to develop corrective actions. Background requirements include experience performing In-Circuit and Functional testing on PCBAs. |
